Apple introduced three new iPhones on September 9, 2026 – including the first foldable iPhone ever. For us, the same question is exciting with every new device: How can you protect it without hiding the character you bought it for? iPhone Duo: the first foldable iPhone
The iPhone Duo is the biggest change to the iPhone in years. Unfolded, it features a 7.6-inch inner display and is the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever built. Folded, it remains a compact device with a 5.4-inch outer display that easily fits in your pocket. The frame and hinge cover are made of titanium, and a 48-MP Dual-Fusion camera system is located on the back. Pre-orders are available from October 16, and it goes on sale on October 23.
The matching wooden case: A foldable device requires a different design than a classic iPhone. Our wooden case for the iPhone Duo therefore consists of two separate shells and leaves the hinge area free – the device can still be opened and closed without restriction. The bamboo back with your engraving is located on the camera half, while the other half houses a protective frame with a slightly raised edge that protects the outer display from scratches. Especially with a device made of titanium and glass, the contrast with warm wood is particularly beautiful – and the case remains so thin that the slim format is preserved.

iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max: the camera makes the difference
The two Pro models come in 6.3 inches (18 Pro) and 6.9 inches (18 Pro Max), both with a ProMotion display up to 120 Hz. The real highlight is the camera: The 48-MP main camera now features a variable aperture for the first time, which adjusts mechanically instead of just compensating for lighting conditions via software. In addition, there is a smaller, newly designed Dynamic Island, an aluminum unibody, and a Ceramic Shield back. Camera Control and the Action Button are still on board.
The matching wooden case: There is a full selection for both models – back case, flip case with card slot, strap case for carrying around, and the walnut back case with MagSafe. All cutouts are precisely aligned with the new camera system, the Camera Control button, and the Action Button. With the large 18 Pro Max, it is worth taking a look at the strap case: With the heaviest model in the range, it is pleasant to be able to carry the device around and keep your hands free.

Why a wooden case for a new iPhone?
